★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Met up for dinner with friends. The place is inviting with attentive and friendly staff. Nice retro ambience. Very chic. Good selection of drinks at the bar, served by knowledgeable bartenders with a smile.
For dinner we ordered all three of the "Chow Kit Platters" and a selection of desserts. The food was appetising, flavourful and delectable. Portions were generous. Prices are reasonable.
Definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just like the classical ambience of KL's olden era with good food and drinks here. Menu is not expansive but the fish and chips here is a MUST TRY. Even if you are not staying at the Chow Kit hotel, do have dinner in this restaurant. They have private rooms too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very challenging to find parking. There is a private parking area behind the official parking site where they charge RM8-RM10 depending on the parking attendant's mood.?
Atmosphere is very good. Beautiful decor and great service from the staff. Food is good, not amazing. Will come here again for the ambience and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice ambience for a date night. Quiet enough with a small crowd.
An interesting menu exploring Malaysian + western fusion. I personally prefer the usual western, but my date loved the blend of flavours.
But my personal highlight was the great hospitality. A staff even took us for a tour of the hotel after dinner!

Begedil WOW me with mashed potatoes wrapped in crispy tofu puff. And it's not oily at all.
Mango salad surprisingly came with grilled squid on the side.
Nasi ulam was not something I imagined, rice with serunding and vegetables.
Beef rendang good taste and huge portion. The meat a bit tender but is my liking style.
Worth to mention they took my beef rendang order wronly, replaced immediately with no question asked which I'm really impressed of.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good ambience. Staffs helpful and friendly. Tip top services. Overall tasty food with huge portion that can feed up to 4. Chicken curry creamy and flavourful. Complimented well with sour mango salad. Grilled squid in mango salad add nice texture to the salad. Unfortunately beef dish a bit let down - huge chunks and a bit tough. Will definitely come back and try other dishes (with more crowds next time).
