โ โ โ โ โ It has been some years since I have had a Thanksgiving Dinner and I am happy to find The Glasshouse here at The Prestige Hotel to be hosting on Thanksgiving Day.
It was a good RM68+ semi-buffet dinner where you get the choice of one main pasta / rissoto dish and free flow of their flavorful slow roasted turkey with all the fixings of potatoes, vegetables, stuffings and gravies and also free flow of the delightful Cream of Brocolli with fresh rolls and some traditional Christmas desserts. Would have been great id there's some pumpkin pies but there were already abundance of food served.
The service is good and the atmosphere is amazing.
I know Thanksgiving Dinner is not much a Malaysian tradition but its good someone started to introduce this tradition here in Penang.

โ โ โ โ โ Lovely environment. The hotel itself is a newly build hotel. The Glasshouse staff Mr. Fiq was helpful and food was good.

โ โ โ โ โ Although it's not really easy to find a parking spot, it's still worth trying out. I love the way they divide into partitioned dining areas, allow for more privacy? The food not only look good, but taste good too!

โ โ โ โ โ The food was bad.
So we ordered all the below and we got complimentary soup of the day.
Came french onion soup (thats what the waitress told us) but turned out to be basic onion soup with no cheese in it ?โโ๏ธ. We did not take a picture because as we kept our fingers crossed hoping our main course would be great .
Then came our food. So we ordered ,
1. CReamy pesto (V) (which i guess the cook forgot to pour the cream in it ?)
The creamy pesto was the only food that was best amongst the other even it was major no for us.?
2. Pasta alla Norma (V) (which supposedly a savoury dish but turned out to be fusion of main course & dessert. The food was sweet ).
When checked with the manager he claimed that is how it should taste.
Here comes the worst.
3. Crispy chicken burger - the patty was so horrible seems like it went in and out the fridge (thawed many times) and ended up on our table. For this meal the manager took away and admitted that there's something wrong with the food and opt to refund the money and said sorry.
Conclusion is, food was bad bad bad. No one deserve this kinda food in a 5 star ranked hotel (The Prestige Hotel) inhouse restaurant. I hope the restaurant can work on this ASAP.
Sorry can't undo what has happened to us. But atleast i hope it would be their last mistake.
Calling ? Sir Gordan ramsay now.

โ โ โ โ โ Environment 5 star
Food 3 star
Service 2 star - it was very slow. Restaurant not even full only ~16 people. Even a canned drink takes time to be served. ?
Will I come again? Maybe just to hang out having a drink.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice place to chill and food was good. We like the fish and chips. The place has a nice outdoor seating that feels cozy at night. Service was OK.

โ โ โ โ โ Food is not up to par for a 5star hotel. The creamy Tom Yam pasta had a mushy texture and the spice was overpowering. Tom Yam should have a clean and refreshing taste. Chicken burger and fish & chips were ok but vegetables were not fresh. Nachos were plain and cold with just cheap condiments. Hot chocolate was accompanied by biscuits from the market.
Food 1/5
Service 4/5
Environment 5/5

โ โ โ โ โ Could be better. It's one of the cafe within a hotel.
Environment: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Food: 3/5
Went there for a weekday dinner. Not much of a crowd, so it's easy to get a nice little corner if you want to have a catch up with your friends or you want a "me" time.
Ordered fish n chip and Mocktail - Honey boi. Not too impressed with the main. Felt a bit under seasoned to me. Fries was ok. Honey boi was so-so for me as well.
Expect a hotel food price.
