★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3 stars for the location and view. Other than that are so-so.
Guests who want to check in here must know that,
-there is no TV and Wifi
-no lift, if you stay on the 3rd floor you should climb high stairs.
-no restaurant inside the hotel
-The bed is too hard like a rock, not suitable for elders people
-the entrance of the hotel is a fish processing place
My suggestion is you guys can stay here after spending the day in Taiping and just spent here for sleep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ - the entrance to the hotel is very improper as there are people selling fish and it smells
- there is no lift, so if your room is at the 3rd floor then u have to climb up the steep stairs. My mom has slip disc and arthritis had to climb up the steep stairs. In agoda its not even written that there’s no lift.
- room is very small. I booked for 4 people and in the room there’s stairs going up to 2 single matress. Its not even bed, its matress.
- the mattress is so hard, its like you’re sleeping on a cement
- i can hear people next door talking as their wall is not cemented but its just a cardboard
- there is a phone but it’s not functioning, so u can’t even contact the receptionist.
- and the location of this place is quite far in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple hotel with minimum facilities, but it gives different ambience when you stay at this place, where your alarm will be boat engine sound.
But if u get noisy neighbours, then your stay will be a nightmare. Others, all good!
Oh.. not to forget, hotel enterence not clear. Because it at the back of seafood enterance, ask local if u cant find it.

- no reception staff
- no kettle to boil water
- no drinking water or even water dispenser
- climb stairs 3 storey with heavy luggage
Entrance is unacceptable . dirty and no parking space

No hot water at night, NO water at all the next morning.
Call receptionist, nobody answer, basically nobody by the counter most of the time.
Upstairs noise till late night, start early in the morning, mattress material so good like z on floor, can't rest well at all.
TV in the room mainly for display as their sound proof very poor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique, one could never expect to find such a comfortable room in such a rugged town in a rugged building. Unfortunately we find the beds are hard like road, sleep thru the nite was further disturbed by noisy boats cruising by , room aircon sucked in air with smoke smells from the charcoal factories near by.
Nevertheless , the hotel has a excellent restaurant in its premises, many stalls selling dry goods and seafood nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like the room and its decorations! Supersede my expectations - depending on how you rate it.
Get ready to "exercise" as no lift available (a problem for small kids and old folks). Very limited parking spaces, can park alongside main road. No in-house dining available but hey, enjoy your seafood at nearby restaurants.
Overall, I have no complaints! :)
