Taste: 5/5 Portion: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Price: 4/5 The 5-star rating is for its chicken pie which is extremely tasty and the filling extremely generous (less than RM5). Can’t find this anywhere nowadays. The butter cake is moist and buttery. In fact, everything here is buttery! Am loving it! Keep it up for the next 100 years!

Very poor pay counter service! Guess they are the only bakery in taiping town! I used pay-wave with cc to pay for the item and the aunty just snatched card from my hand without asking or saying anything, addition to that she must know that shouldn’t reveal other cc cvv number! She just simply put the card upside down when there is huge crowd behind me! After she charge rudely pull-up the receipt and give if to me suppose she should give the payment receipt and cc charged receipt but she said we only provide normal receipt ! Then i just walk out after done since i don’t want to argue or say anything to elderly ppl ! But seriously you guys badly need improvement in customer service, especially on your cashier counter! Sometime ppl can be repeated customer for their service sake, Remember doesn’t matter you are the boss or just employee without the loyal customer there is no existence of business! Tqvm

Went there during covid. We have to queue for the protocol that only allow few people in which is very good. The smells of pastries from outside is sooo good. All the pastries that we try are good. The chicken pizza bread is my favourite for savory since it is loaded with toppings and taste very good. The chocolate cake with oreo is my fav dessert here, the sweetness is not overwhelming. The custard bread is sooo soft which i lovee so much. The egg tart is also marvelous. Thank you for making my tummy happy ?

Recommended to try out the pandan cake and ondeh cake. Great price for its taste. And suggest it call up to make reservations before hand to avoid disappointment ☺️

Went there at around 9am. Bought randomly n we found that all items were super delicious! The puffs had delicate textures n airy even after eating 4 hours later..filling of sardines n curry chicken were perfect! The random buns were nice too..we also bought longan jelly for the kids..its not too sweet n refreshing. A must try in taiping ??

For those looking for something simple you can't go wrong with their loaf or simple buns, it's just amazing. If you're looking for some quick eats you guys can try their sandwiches almost all of them taste divine, my favorite is the egg and ham toast and the chicken wrap(though I think the bun wrap is a big too thick). Gonna recommend their puff pastries too if you are a fan of texture. Must try cakes in my opinion: longan, peach cake, but for me I do think its a bit too sweet and I do wonder if we can request for less sweet cake?Anyways,Must try bakery in Taiping!

Bakeries and pastry shops are now a dime a dozen, with so many offering pastries from literally around the world. In Taiping, this long standing institution (established in 1918 says the packaging) still draws in droves of people to the shop, with offerings that have not changed in almost 100 years! Their cream roll is the one that Taiping residents would have sampled sometime in their childhood, and is still on sale today. Along the busy Jalan Taming Sari sits Ipoh Bakery. You can't really miss it as there will always be one or two Indian bread vendors who are outside the shop also selling bread at all times. Parking is quite easy to obtain. You may have thought from the size of the signboard that the shop encompasses both lots, however, it only takes one - the other being the bakery itself and also it's administrative offices. When I got there, there was a never ending parade of workers taking out trays and trays of freshly baked breads and pastries, some to be displayed in the shop, some to hand off to the bread vendors waiting outside. The shop is quite modest in size, but packs in a lot of different offerings. Prices are cheap - and you can be assured of finding something interesting to satisfy your sweet tooth there. Also do try their Black Pepper Chicken Pie and their Roti Kelapa.

Pastries are conventional and still yummy. You will have a lot of local bakers in their bikes outside, too. I'm not sure if they are all from the same bakery. The rainbow cake was pretty, taste wise not bad . Each layer has its own flavour.
