★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long time heard of the fame of this famous japanese restaurant in a fishing village. Being here to unearth how good is their shako sushi (mantis shrimp).
We ordered shako rice. We never taste any japanese food with this kind of taste even in japan. The rice was perfectly cooked with evenly mild sauce make us feel the best of japanese rice full of softness and stickiness. The shako was perfectly good and yet still juicy of taste of ocean.
The deep sea squid also perfectly grilled. Balance of softness and also give some level of crunchy.
Finally, the shako sushi set consists of 3 tempura shako and 3 shako sushi. Well presented in a spiral staircase miniature. The wow factor make us want more.
Total bill about RM110. Value for money

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite impressed that small place like this can have Japanese restaurant. Food served quite fast, very special..first time having mantis prawn sushi and mantis prawn shako rice as well as the kimchi ramen was quite tasty. Quite unique, overall great! Japanese green tea was pretty bland. Will come back again.
