★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To say it as a 4 star hotel really far from it. 2 bad occasions already with the hotel. 1) was regarding the F&B, despite being on the expensive side, taste was bland, and the ramadhan buffet didn't even provide enough food for everyone.
2) regarding pool, the only reason using the pool is for Coach Rosdi swim lessons, which from my view is a very good coach to teach swimming for kids. And I guess, that is the only reason to be there in the first place. The pool it self is not too suitable for swimming lessons, further more, the changing rooms are minimal, unhygienic, and exposed, there are only 2 stalls for each gender. No lifeguard is provided by the hotel management, despite taking a entrance fee. And now, parents who are accompanying for their children for classes also required to pay the entrance fee. This additional hidden cost is what made me immediately withdraw from the class.
Strike 3 for this hotel will be the staff, which I find is poorly train to handle problems, even the security guard is rude and seems to be ready to be violent to guest. Hotel managers are uncontactable, as the front office claims.
Seems like a hotel runned by a mafia group. They even claimed that that is the standard hotel procedure in whole malaysia. Maybe that's why the Hotel standard in Malaysia is poor, and unknown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eventhoigh d rooms are dated , but they r really clean and spotless , I tip my hat to the house keeping team, really great cleaning d rooms. If u take of yr shoes in d room u could feel how clean d floor is, as well s d bathrooms. But d shower needs to do a DIY cause water was spraying everywhere.
They hv a 6 foot deep swimming pool which was pristine.
We had dinner there, and it could be one of good food hotels around and quite cheap.
D location is great, it's near to most of d places that we wanted to visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is kind of old hotel. It is spacious and quiet well maintained. The location is very strategic. On sunday you can have a food walk to the food market across the building. However don't expect too much on the service. Breakfast is so so. But I think this is the best hotel in town you can find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a 3D2N stay for a writing retreat, it turned out that wifi is only working at lobby level. I called the reception 4 times to get a reply from the technician team that they have restarted the router and if it doesn't worked out 'memang tak boleh buat apa-apalah'. Toilet was not really clean. The only star should be given to the coffee house for their excellent service and good food. Need to flag this hotel in case we are doing a research retreat again

Silky and comfy bed sheets. Clean room. Will receive breakfast voucher for those buy the room with breakfast. Spacious room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms might be large but are very dated and needs a good scrubbing. The curtains probably have never been cleaned in a very long time. The sheets though seemed clean, could see better days. The bathroom is rather strange, with the shower spewing water right to the door. But rest assured, if you don’t feel like washing your hair, there are shower caps available, but alas no toothpaste or toothbrush even after you’ve made several requests. Generally this place probably has seen better days but sadly now.. a good bleach or clorox is what they need most especially to wash that horrid and lazy attitude of the staff.
