β β β β β It's between 3-4 star experience for me. I use to visit this place when I'm still a kid. After 20 years plus they still hold up. Good job guys. Pretty much unchanged since old times but the food I give it 2star. The meat is thinner. The fried food is dry. Even their legendary bun has downgraded.

β β β β β I like tht it is old school, bring me down memory lane & the escargot is still as great as I remembered. But I gotta admit... Steak wise... Well, unless you look for the retro style sauce laden version, this will be your cut ?

Love the old-school-fancy ambience that takes you back in time ?
Got the sizzling tenderloin steak and wow I was really taken aback at how good it was! So tender, juicy and buttery ??
Fried fish (basically fish & chips) was not bad. They used dory and it was well fried with breadcrumbs batter. Decent size too.
The egg & shrimp with rice was quite disappointing as we thought it comes with fried rice and even confirmed it with the server but it came with white rice. The rice was pretty bad - hard and could tell itβs not a good quality one.
Price tags are pretty steep and menu prices not inclusive of 16% tax but service is good.
Didnβt know where to park as the space in front the restaurant is very limited and occupied by the valet so we ended up paying RM10 for valet thatβs for the restaurantβs patrons

β β β β β Free parking may be hard to find around the area, it's wise to come earlier for better parking. Food and drinks are fabulous and huge portion as well. Charbroiled steak and escargot are definitely well recommended to have here. Can try set lunch for cheaper option, portion is just as big.

β β β β β Staff are really experienced and good team work to ensure guest are well served. Only concern is parking...not that it is not good to have valet, but at least let us know it will cost us RM10 for parking. Anyways, not much complaint since the food is great. I had Ship in Penang and it is also as good.

β β β β β It was a nostalgic trip. Ambiance hasn't changed and we still love the place - dark wood as if we were inside the Captain's deck of an old ship in Pirates of the Caribbean. Service staff were very good. The place was packed and we were lucky to get a table. We had the roasted rack of lamb which was good. Same with two servings of sizzling lamb chops, which was very good. Someone commented that the potato chips were well fried, so much so we mopped up the sauces with the chips. Those who ordered the tenderloin steak and the black pepper were not too pleased with theirs. The seafood platter was also not very fresh - what to do when us Asians are finicky about fresh seafood!! They serve mineral water and the mango juice was fresh and good. We ordered two dozen escargots and mopped up the garlic sauce. Before I forget, order the Indonesian oxtail soup. You won't regret it. Overall, it was a great outing and it's a place for the family to come together and chat.
