Read plenty of poor reviews that’s relatable. Came here to dine in. Didn’t know that reservation should be made beforehand, because it was my first visit. The place looks very nice, giving me good impressions already. Hence I thought walk-in are made available for outside customers, so we stopped by. It is totally understandable if things are being explain politely, in terms of how bookings can be made and how long was the waiting list etc. We don’t mind at all if he we have to wait a little longer. However I was being treated badly, that me and my partner straight away went to other place. Bet he was the manager of the place. An old man arrogantly asked us what we want and says the waiting list are too long already (indirectly telling us to go find somewhere else to dine). Sadly that alone already gave me a very poor first impression of the place. Bad first experience ever in Fraser. Advisable for the place to polish your front manager’s customer service skills and learn a little bit of common courtesy when talking to people.

If you came here primarily for the ambience, then it is worth it. I came here only for dinner and not to stay. The food is slightly above average Western food. Expect to pay an average of RM70 per mains. Service was alright too. One little detail is they'd light a candle by your table to add to the romantic atmosphere. Only complaint was that we waited around 40 minutes for the food to arrive.

My family and I enjoyed the food and service here immensely. The afternoon tea set is very satisfying; the apple pie is a must. The resident manager, Mr Hafiz is very welcoming and is happy to share stories of Fraser's Hill past history and current news.

I liked the nice English vibes, most furnitures are abit dated but I guess that somewhat adds to the ambience. It was fun to tour around the house and see how the British used to live here. Room and toilet are clean and the beds are comfy. View is quite good at the outdoor patio and reading room. English breakfast is good and so are the scones + orange cake for the afternoon tea. Staffs are very professional and always ready to assist, even staying up until quite late into the night. Overall a pretty nice stay!

While I enjoyed the ambience of the location, with its large garden housing a variety of flora and fauna, I find the food mediocre at best and kind of on the pricey side (we visited for tea). Also, be mindful that the tea which is bundled with the tea is entitled to a refill of hot water, while the some teas on the menu, are NOT entitled to a refill. Please ask before ordering. 4 stars for ambience, 2 stars for food., so that makes it a 3 rating for me.

A very humble couple recommended us to try the scones here. We went there for teatime and were served with freshly made scones. We found the place to be quite cozy. Would definitely try to enjoy our tea outside next time if it doesn't rain. The manager and staff there were friendly and helpful.

Service was very good. Manager Hafiz was very hands on to ensure things went smoothly. Went out of his way to have fresh flowers, complimentary fruit n cookies and a birthday banner in the accommodation. Room was spacious and comfortable. The afternoon tea with scones and Apple pie is something to look forward to. Meals were enjoyable. The dessert of Bomb Alaska with it's grand entrance and artistry was a sight to behold. Thank you to kitchen staff and singers.

My family came for lunch and we enjoyed it so much we came back the next day for the afternoon tea. Both did not disappoint. The hotel is quaint with antique furniture and decorations, with a delightful little garden. We were ushered into a drawing room, and waited an hour for our food after our orders were taken. Can’t fault the staff as they seemed very busy. The delicious and hearty portions of food made up for it. Beef wellington, apple crumble was amazing. The next day we came for afternoon tea, and ordered the cream tea set for 2. The scones and cakes are very homely and classic. Truly a trip back in time. Great place, we will definitely return. Remember to make reservations before coming or risk being turned away.
