★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had kaya toast, french toast with peanut butter and coffee. Kaya toast was okay, nothing exceptionally special. French toast with peanut butter was too oily and surfeiting. Coffee was good (felt that it was a bit on the milky side). Had better coffee and toast elsewhere in more traditional kopitiam.
Arrived at 9am on Saturday with a queue. Passed by a couple of times during weekday and there was no queue at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The honey lemon was too sweet. I requested to add water and ice. 2 to 3 cubes of ice were added and a tiny volume of water. You can see from the picture!!! The rice pudding (chui kuih) was too sweet and the chye Poh were too little. This branch’s food not as good as Mount -Austin’s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food here honestly is subpar. Asked them what was their popular dishes and they told me that mee hoon kueh was one of it. I ordered it and it was rather plain and tasteless. There wasn't much flavour to it. Their signature toast was also so so only.
Ambience and service is OK, but I guess for a restaurant, the food is the basic to get right isn't it?
Highly doubt I'll be visiting again unfortunately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good business here. But mayonnaise egg don't have taste of mayonnaise, only have strong taste of egg yolk. Meesiam texture abit hard. Can be softer. Clean environment. Easy find parking here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon this cafe and checked out the Google review. We decided to try based on good review. We went for Sunday lunch today. The restaurant was super packed which we had to wait for an available table for about 15 mins. Service crew was attentive and prompt. Clean and cozy place. However, the food was rather underwhelming. We ordered Nasi Lemak with fried chicken, Mee Siam with fried chicken, 2 half boiled eggs, mini glutinous rice with chicken (Lo Mai Gai), Ice Milk Tea, Cincao with Soya Bean and Ice cream Toast. Total damage was RM38.25 for 2 of us. Honestly, the food is not something that we would crave for a return. The Mee Siam was a bit too dry and the fried chicken was a tad salty to our likings. The only things that we enjoyed were the ice cream toast and the half boiled eggs. Perhaps, this place is only good for “toast” as how the cafe is named as “The Toast”.
