★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday had my valentine date at this place. But it did not deliver what I want to expect. The food service is very slow as we were starving very badly and we waited more than 30 minutes to serve appetizer and mains. Their food is so less. Overall the food presentation is okay. I doubt this is hotel cafe, this might be their first time to organise this kind of event. Hope the cafe can improve the food serving speed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for the buffet lunch which starts at 12:30pm. Not overkill of food dishes but it was alright. Nice location on the 5th floor overlooking I-City theme park. Features indoor and outdoor seating but outdoor seating may not be suitable on a hot afternoon. Free Wi-Fi is available and you can pass your parking ticket for validation and get a flat parking fee of RM 5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located within Best Western hotel in iCity Shah Alam, The View Cafe offers a high tea buffet on Sundays from 12.30 pm to 4pm at RM42 with a 50% discount for those 55 and older. The cafe is located on the 5th floor and is not very large with indoor and outdoor dining areas (outdoor not so comfortable for high tea as it's hot outside). High tea buffet is served with a variety of local favourites such as chicken rice, mee rebus, fried rice, fried kuey teow, fried calamari, chicken wings, roti jala, etc. There's also rojak, salad (oddly without salad sauce), mac & cheese, a sandwich station, chocolate fountain, cakes, ice cream, ice kacang with a variety of cakes and local desserts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very worth it if you get the 50% senior citizen discount.
