Summary- The Way hair saloon is famous for their perm. In a snapshot, the result is ideal for me but not perfect as you have seen in their fb page. #Anyone who has cita-cita/wawasan of getting perfect perm hair, please DIY at your home, NO saloon in this world can give you perfect/neat permanent curl like how you see in the magazine#. Price is reasonable.
Detail- ==For those who like a perm and croissant-like- curly hair== this review is for you ==For those who like wavy perm== please notify the hairdresser so, as I have indicated to my hairdresser I need to perm higher and curler. p/s I have seen reviews on the hair being too curly, if you don't like it, you have to inform the hair dresser in advance.
The pictures I snap/showing below is to show the results after two weeks of perm. The curls are still quite strong. Hairdresser claimed that curl can last up to 8 months, I would think 5-6 months period where your curls are maintained. After 5-6 months, it will slowly loosened out and by 8 months it is gone.
As you can see from picture, my hair is is slightly frizzy (even before perm) and I have a lot of baby hair. Blow dry not much skill needed, but if you need nicer curl/enhanced effect, use the Curly Hair Dryer Diffuser cover, you may easily get it in hair products seller/lazada/11street. See below picture that is what I use when I blow dry
Price- The way hair saloon did the perm at very reasonable price RM175 only vs one of the saloon "32xxxxxxxxxx" in PJ, which charge RM600 (4x the price!!). That "32" shop I went to, said my hair is damaged and refuse to perm for me. The Way hair saloon accepted me and perm my hair, turns out my hair is still ok, why not?
I have nvr done such a nice perm before, my hair is always too soft and curl does not work on me, turns out messy and frizzy. This salon is Strongly recommended, but bear in mind the curl would not be what you see in their fb page (Alert!: very important! Keep your expectation realistic!)

β β β β β Performed hair colouring (RM159), perming (RM179) and hair treatment (RM89), total about RM400+
Pros:
1. Price made clear to customer before service
2. No waiting time for appointment set
3. Service performed professionally
Cons:
1. Limited coloring options available for non-bleach (I wanted to do a two tone color but was advised for normal coloring instead, a little disappointed)
2. Estimated to finish in 5 hours, end up took 6.5 hours to complete
3. Staff didnt explain properly what is the difference between RM89 and RM159 hair treatment, just briefly stated the pricier one is better. Product knowledge not there and a little too hard sell.
Overall experience is moderate only. If you are looking for normal hairstyling at this budget then it is fine for you. If you are looking for more creative hairstyling and nice coloring, then this might not be your best option ?

Thanks for the team taking time to address my concerns. I would like to agree to the fact again that the price is affordable and it is made clear to customer before servicing. And I do not want to miss out the credit given to the stylist, as the service is performed professionally. Both were mentioned earlier.
On top of that, I am expecting a little more in depth explanation on the treatment, in term of the difference in end result, durability, method use, chemical used etc. I am only informed regarding the price, name of the treatment and their purpose.
I requested a subtle two-tone coloring instead of contrast highlighting. Understand that requesting for two tone coloring will be charged higher (definitely fair), but was not aware that the service can only be requested from creative director.
Sorry for the miscommunication. Thanks for the team's effort.

β β β β β I went there on last Friday. The best service and the staff are all very friendly. I felt so Comfortable there. I did keratin and hair colouring. My hair was coloured red before and I wanted to change to purple this time. The hairstylist explain very well on my hair and how will the outcome be like..and yeah the outcome was wonderful then I expected. U guys should give a try on their service provided. I also bought the keratin care products..
