★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first I volunteered as a writer, and was then hired as a freelancer to produce several articles that aimed towards boosting the SEO of their website. At first, for about half a year, they paid me RM 50 per article, and when I requested to lift the price per article (due to the increase in quality & article length e.g. 1000 ++ words and in effort put into the SEO aspect), they suddenly stopped replying to my inquiries on payments for my most recent articles, which hadn't been paid for (until now). I contacted them, they texted me that they would bank $ into my account, but they never did and kept giving excuses. In short, they ghosted me. Finally, when I asked the guy who is a friend of one of the employees, it was through him that I got to understand that they didn't want me to write for them anymore (so much for professionalism; they couldn't even "communicate" this to me in a simple message). I thought they were nice and professional, not so I guess. I believe that no matter what happens, what we give to a company should be rewarded, hence posting this here for a little bit of justice.
