★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used to stop here to grab some light breakfast before heading to vipassana centre. It serves variety types of traditional kuih, also fried meehun, nasi lemak and so on. Though vegetarian foods are limited but good enough for a light breakfast. Friendly boss and staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Star for excellent array of food selection. Most of which are typical local kuihs / snacks / dishes.
A Star for good customer care of explaining different dishes, sauces + drinks on offer.
A Star for unique thirst quenchers (preserved lime juice = childhood memory) made in-house + many choices of sambal to apply for specific dishes.
A Star for availability of buying back in-house made lime preserves, sambals and cooking ingredients.
Unfortunately seating outside nearby plants which i suspect using natural compost attracts flies! This shouldn't deter enjoying dining inside restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would rate this shop a five star simply because of the best service from the boss himself. Super welcoming and a special plate of savory pancake was served with four of their home made sauces plus a jar of homemade plum juice (on the house) which the boss says he fermented for three years. Their nasi lemak was one of the best I've had in a long time. Also love the variety of kuihs although a lil bit pricy but they taste really good.

Sweet potato was fantastic. Just nice and delicious when dip in the sauce. 4 stars
Pancake was good as well. 3 stars
Nasi lemak a bit of lack down. Some kind of strange taste. 2 stars
Hakka dessert 算盘子was delicious. Just nice and please my taste bud well. 4 stars
