My own workshop nearby brought me to this workshop to set the RPM timing to the correct level.
The mechanic opened up the engine cover, wiped around a bit with a rag and sprayed a lubricant.
Then he used his diagnostic tool to set the RPM.
All he took was a relaxed 15 mins but he charged me RM 80.
RM 80 is what a car accessories shop charges you to install your car head unit and that takes at least one hour by two workers.
So boycott this workshop. Don’t let him cheat other SINGAPORE drivers. Pass the word around.
Even my Malaysian friends said it was a clear case of overcharging.
Don’t even go near this workshop. Unfriendly guy.
