★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cosy reading area on the ground floor and parking is small but surprisingly sufficient.
Big place for kids to read and relax on the ground floor. Lifts are old but functional.
Sadly, the library collections are everywhere. And except for the ground and first floor, the management seems uninterested in beefing up things.
The management needs to go to the Dataran Merdeka area in Kl and learn a thing or two from the KL library. Money spent on the Apple macs downstairs could probably be well spent elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A state-level shame. Visited this library hoping to do my research work. Staff at counter is unfriendly. Then..the whole place is very rundown and aircond does not seem to be functioning. Upstairs looks a bit haunted. Worse thing is, staff are chit-chatting so loudly and disturbing the quite atmosphere in the library. I hope the authorities will do a spot check and see that what I'm saying is all true.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tun Razak Library is famous because of its location in the city centre. Although not the state library, it has a good following with library goers. Limited parking space but sufficient as it is patronized by students mostly. Strictly no using any of the power sockets for charging etcetera.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tun Razak Library along Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab is the main public library in Ipoh since 1970s. It's a popular place for kids and students. Originally it was only a 2-storey building until its expansion with an additional 6-storey block in 1990s. The Tun Razak Library is managed by Ipoh City Council. Place that full of resources.
