do not walk in when you are from other city.
before covid 19 i went to penang ,unfortunally my tayar spoil on satursday noon
i saw this shop still opening i think how lucky i am
but unfortunally nightmare start
shop owner recommend me change 2 tyre together and have discount from michillin
after change my mistake no eye on tyre size
there staff give me different size ,245 and 225
after i found that different and already half way back kl
after asking other shop they say this is dangerous and confirm is cheat consumer
even people dunno tyre also cannot mix together different size
they want earn small money different even customer in dangerous situation .
hope this beware of customer when they outstation and look in review

β β β β β This tyre store have been in business for a long time. The next generation of owner have been running this business for a while. Try to go early or after lunch time or else you will be force to wait. For better price try to call other tyre store and then give Hock Cheong a call. There are two waiting aircon room in this store. For a hot day this is a blessing if you want to wait in the store. Or you can just walk to Perangin Mall which is a street across.
The tyre store is located in the city centre. Driving there will take some time during working days. During working hours traffic will be a headache if you are rushing to your tyre done. Even on weekend road is quite jam on the road on certain hours. Plan ahead and give them a call. Telephone # 04-2619191

β β β β β Bad service. A BMW m4 do alignment and balancing for his tyre just for RM51 and my lexus ct200 they charge for RM69. When I ask the clark still tell me that's different.

β β β β β Need to change one piece tyre (rear) and give me 2nd hand tyre with bad condition for RM80. Then, I asked for change to another tyre...provide me a bit okay as compared to the earlier one from RM90. If you are professional enough, I don't mind if in the 1st place you providing the one with RM90 instead of like those 'tukun' tyre on the RM80...kedai looks big and nice but the quality and service given to customer were below par. Do not know if I brings my porch, the service would be different ???

β β β β β Went for tyre alignment. Was told two of my tyres were worn out and way passed manufacture date (mileage was 50.45k) so I agreed to change. Staff (not sure if hes the owner) suggested me to get Hankook tyres and I agreed.
Left my car there and went out for lunch, only realized a few days after that I didn't get Hankook tyres as promised. They gave me some dodgy, unknown brand instead. Also found out manufacture date was less than 5 years.
I felt like they were taking advantage since i was a female driver, alone and know nothing about cars. Dishonest shop, not going back.
And to reply to @Carven's video 's comment: no they didn't switch the tyres. How could i not know what old tyres were like.
