β β β β β Food presentation is still the same but i must say that your foreign workers have communication issues!! We ordered for our steak's to be separated with the sauce but it comes together soaked with the sauce!! We asked for our dressings for the baked potato but it didn't come!!! When we complaint to the captain all that we hear was sorry and that's it!!! If this remains you might loose some other loyal customers too...

β β β β β Nostalgic place like dining in the train, 'Orient in the Star ' ? . Reasonable portion of food served and pricing too. Attentive waiters and very helpful in recommendationscif food from the menu.

β β β β β This place is getting old & perhaps renovation needed. When we sat down in the train seating I felt like there's a bit of weird smell (musky) going on in there. So we requested to change to window seats & glad that we did so as fresh air needed because we ordered the VS sizzling steak. It can be very hot & nasty with the sizzling hot pan once it served.
We had the Oxtail soup & seafood chowder. Oxtail soup tasted is ok just that the seafood chowder was rather weird as I took a bit on the fish, can tell that it's not fresh. My man had their grilled chicken when he find is fine whereas the steak I had is fairly ok to my liking because of the sauce is abit lacking in tasted & their vegetable sides was out from frozen instead of fresh vegetable.
Overall their food quality is dropping but service is good greeted with smiley faces & attended to us time to time.

β β β β β Good food overall, although a mismatch to the glory days it once was. Perhaps its reminiscing memory lane for most people which keeps them coming back.
Interior wise, the restaurant is very big. Could fit a big crowd without waiting so that's a plus. But, the interior needs an overhaul. Tables & chairs are I good condition, but the dim lighting just screams old.
Food wise, I would advise you to tick off the expensive steaks & wagyus off your menu as the cooking of regular steaks are OK, but not quite up to par. The fries were warm but not crispy, giving me the impression that they were microwaved before being served. The fish & chips could be better. It was too basic without much to shout about. The escargot was good. Much more palatable than the fish.

β β β β β Have not been going to VS sin the starting of the pandemic. Miss their food but i was so disappointed . One of the worst dinner i ever had. The fishermanβs platter which is all fried was dry and hard! Suffering to finish and at last decided to give up. The wild mushroom soup was salty! What else can i say. Not ever coming here even if i have to starve. Just look at the photos. Is it now worth going to Victoria Station from the VS i remember years ago.
