My husband is a steak lover so chose this steakhouse to celebrate anniversary hoping for great steak experience. Mushroom soup was quite tasty, which you can taste bits of onions and mushrooms. Mushroom risotto was alright which i think its cooked by using the mushroom soup base as it tasted alike but the risotto was quite hard and a bit too creamy overwhelm by the end. The steak menu comes with selections of Tenderloin, Ribeye, Striploin & Wagyu with Wagyu the priciest and Striploin the least. We chose Wagyu thinking since its a steakhouse it should be awesome. Then came the beef... we were horrified!! never in our lives eaten steak in so many restaurants were we served with this kind of steak! we chose the expensive WAGYU BEEF and they served us STRIPLOIN with a lot of VEINS!! even in an ordinary restaurant which is not specialized in beef don't serve us this vein part of beef!!! My husband was so disappointed!! keep chewing and spiting out veins!! its not about the price but the quality of steak they served! it was RM68/100g and we ordered 240g and they served us with veins in that grams!! i might as well ordered Tenderloin from the menu which is cheaper than Wagyu??!! besides that the taste was below average and the sauce is too watery. I asked the waiter why all the veins.. he answered me well its striploin hence the veins! Seriously 1st and last visit. an advice to others please make sure to tell them which part of steak to your preference or else they will serve you the worse part! With Christmas and New Year just around the corner, we were thrilled to be invited by Viking Steakhouse in Tanjung Bungah to review their festive set menus. We arrived that evening and enjoyed a glass of Merlot wine in the garden before proceeding to the upper floor for our dinner. The courteous and attentive service staff served us our Mushroom Soup drizzled with Truffle Oil to start. This was followed by Venus Clams, which were fresh and flavourful with a hint of spiciness. Next was another house favourite, the Baked Half Shell Scallop with Cheese. Then the 3 mains courses were paraded in all their impressive splendour starting with the Seared Salmon with Black Chicken Confit. The 2nd selection was the Beef OP Ribs with Baked Scallops. And the final option was the impressive Udang Galah & Lamb Chops combo. The meal was brought to a sweet close with the Chocolate Brownie with Cheese Topping. The festive sets are available from RM 188+ to RM208+ from 22nd to 31st Dec 2019. And each set is meant for 2 people to share and comes with 2 glasses of red wine. So indeed it's great value for a premium dining experience. (Wine & Dine Penang)

Heard a lot compliments about this place and managed to convinced my family to try today. My uncle, who is a beef lover, ordered a piece of wagyu beef. Two side dishes as a complimentary. On the other hand, both of my cousins too ordered to try on their ribeye steaks and comes with two complimentary side dishes as well. The dishes was served not long after we ordered and I was so excited to see my uncleโ€™s reaction after his 1st bite. โ˜บ๏ธ He tasted his 1st bite with his eyes closed and then he nodded his head. ? hurray!!!!! Itโ€™s a yes. ?? ?? ?? Thanks chef ?. Itโ€™s a yes from a golden tongue ?. I brought him to many places to try beef and he will never compliment straight away and normally the answer I get would be โ€˜itโ€™s ok laโ€™ ? but this time when I asked for his feedback, he said the cook is so professional and handled the beef very well. He loves it very very much. The steak is serve hot and the thickness of the beef is just nice. Itโ€™s a place for beef lovers. The place is capable to take around 4 groups of 8-10 people today with SOP. Youโ€™ll need to call for reservation to prevent any disappointment. RM30 per bottle of wine would be charge if u r bringing ur own. Staff are very attentive and professional. Price are very reasonable too. They do not have any other beverages other than wine and beers. For those who wants coffee u can always walk next door ? to get one

First time come steakhouses for the steak but it turns out not so satisfying. The rib eye steak is ok and the tastes is good for me as the steak flavoured well and juicy. It's medium steak. But the tenderloin is medium rare and the texture of the taste I'm not so into it. The pasta is the one I most not likely to recommend as the pasta is heavy flavoured and creamed the only taste you will get is the sauce and duck meat feels weird. So I would recommend to take rib eye if you come here. Don't order other food than steak.

Cozy ambience with good potential and nice-guy waiter. But the non-steak food needs improvement. Avoid the "Hachis Parmentier" - basically a lightly-cooked overlyโ€salty burger patty, with no beef taste, under mashed potato. Nothing French about it. French Onion Soup could have been elevated with some proper garlic bread or cheese. But now it's just a small portion of light beef broth with a bit of onions.
