★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grocery shopping at Village Grocer JB is pleasant but huge improvement needed for the non-halal section. One of the male staffs is unfriendly and poorly trained. Limited pork choices. They do not provide plastic to protect the cling film used to wrap/pack the pork from torn which is also important to prevent cross contamination unlike other non-halal operators at other Village Grocer outlets & Jaya Grocer Nusajaya. This non-halal store is one of the most unpleasant one I have experienced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cashier in Mid Valley South Key counter no 5 at 5pm 25/3/2022 is rude.and sour face while on her duty. I admit I didn’t notice the non plastic bag service is started since Feb. But can please train your staffs to inform verbally NO PLASTC provided before we make payment? I made all payments and only realised no plastic and asked her how to carry the stuffs, her attitude was bad with saying “Memang tiada plastic”. I said what if I’m first timer come and wouldn’t know, and she replied “how I know you are first timer”. I support to reduce plastic but I can’t accept this rude and bad attitude especially I have made my payment. She called the supervisor to talk to me and the supervisor has same attitude like her saying “ya memang no plastic”. So? Guys, village grocer’s prices are higher 15 to 20% than other supermarket but the attitude is 1 star service. Until a security came over telling me he can give me a box to carry my stuffs, at least this security giving me alternative to solve my problem. Pls train well your staffs while on duty; at least give a solution or alternative way instead of “Kami memang tiada plastic Dan macam mana sya tau awal first timer!” Ridiculous!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delightful trendy supermarket which may be a bit costly but the market and cafe/food outlet combination is great. One can get good coffee n freshly baked confectionery n bread/cakes plus also local delights. Pleasant seatings in plush surroundings with an accompanying children’s bookstore n stationery adjacent to it. The concept works really well for the entire family, children inclusive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Variety of groceries, clean environment, love to shop here as the ambience was nice all the time, even though some products are little pricey, but the quality is priority.
However the cashier lady seems dislike her own work and throw face toward customers, which we don't deserve for this attitude.
Need to strengthen the customer service and enhance the training, minus 2star for this issue.
