β β β β β Comfy Vietnamese restaurant with a wide range choices of dishes. The decorations & vibe are quite relaxing. Staffs are polite and will recommend you if you have no idea what to order (*ΛοΈΆΛ*)
Slightly high price since it's located in the heart of kl city, but it's worth to have a try. The coffee is almosttt same like Vietnam one's, it's a great option if you need any Viet comfort foods... miss the days at there

β β β β β The best fried spring roll!!! The most authentic pancake comes with rice paper you need to dip in water yourself and make your own roll. Wouldn't find it anywhere else. The drip coffee is also on of the best.

β β β β β Overall it is a good place to eat, meals are yammy. Just I will suggest to replace the seat as the cushion is sinking, which make it not quite comfortable siting there eating. (Or maybe standing there eating another good option?)

β β β β β Our third visit to this grandma-grandpa family set-up in KL central Bukit Bintang area, that offers quite a selection of authentic Vietnamese fare. Prices are still reasonably affordable without the foo-foo fanfare. (Read as unassuming food offered at this restaurant, so be humble and don't complain too much!) ???
At RM 16, the Pho Bo Thit (Beef Noodles Soup) was simple, yet satisfying, with generous handfuls of bean sprouts and Thai basil, a slice of lime, sliced fresh chillies and hoisin-chilli sauce. ??? Vinh City's version reminded me more of the time I spent in Hanoi and HCMC, compared to the ornate ones offered at An Viet and Pho Vietz (more expensive at RM 25 and above, with sad portions of condiments). Although with cheaper, slightly thicker and more chewy cuts of sliced beef, the beef was fresh and beefy. At a more affordable RM 16 price tag, I am not complaining.
I asked grandpa Uncle for 3 more slices of lime, which he kindly and politely obliged. ?
I had never quite liked Vietnamese drip-coffee, but I ordered the iced version anyhow. Still not my thing. An acquired taste, it would have brought any dead person back to life... ???
90% of the patrons were Vietnamese as far as I could tell. Yes I eavesdropped. ? A good testament to the authenticity of the Vietnamese food served at Vinh City.
We will definitely be back to Vinh City again when we crave for Vietnamese food.
