★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Think the fusion was done quite well. We had the stingrays, dragon fruit har gu, and the mix har gu sushi. The mango one one tasted really good! Only comment was quite disappointed we don’t get to try the fresh har gu sushi, but we understand it depends on the availability of fresh seafood. Recommend to try :)

But boom! The food is amazing, sushi tastes like it’s home made but at the same time has got high Japanese standards.
The fusion pasta with spicy teochew sauce is my favorite.
Also the seafood is super fresh!
Affordable, rustic retro with no air conditioning. Supar!
Call two days in advance for omakase priced from rm120. The walk in dishes are also superb and cheap ~rm65 for 2.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the omakase here from chef Boon. It was a 7 course omakase. First dish came out, definitely impressed me. Followed by each dish, I appreciate the effort on using local ingredients. His dish reflected his sincerity in cooking Japanese food with his teo chew style. Chef Boon came out and thank us personally for dining in his restaurant, very humble chef. Definitely worth coming back again.
