$4.5 for regular, $5.5 for medium. For that price, it's very reasonable, or probably cheap... Taste was above average, but wasn't that superb. But for a price like that, that's for the 4 *

Not a typical black sauce Wan tan mee. But I like that the stall is sort of semi open air, good air ventilation and very cozy as well. The noodles is not bad, served with pork lard and some sticky sauce. The Wan tans are very nice. Normally by 8.30am, there's a small queue in front of the stall already. Usually people take away a few packets, which make the waiting time slightly longer than expected.

I chose thick noodles. Thick Wan tan mee noodles not bad. Old style taste. Soup and wantan not so nice.

Most probably the best wan tan mee in Melaka. RM4.50 for small, RM5.00 for medium and RM5.50 for large. Located opposite lih jen primary school. No parking of course but you can park by the road. Theres about 4 tables for customer but locals mostly take away.

Sun 27 Feb 2022 A foodie friend in KL suggested this place in the suburb famed for old school wanton mee. We decided to check in out during our school holidays in Melaka. The stall is located on the main road opposite a primary school. The stall is in front of a small wooden shoplot and has only an indoor seating with only few outdoor sheltered seatings. The open kitchen is at the front facing the main road. The wantan mee is tasty and with generous char siew toppings, tasty pork cracking and more gravy mix but the soup has a strong ikan bilis taste to our likings. It us served with crushy pickle fresh green chilli. Prices are very affordable and services friendly and attentive. Parking are limited but are available nearby. P.S. After breakfast, we decided to tabao the thick noodles and the foochok or taukee for lunch later. The thick noodles taste better especially with Melaka special unsweetened chilli sauce added in the kolo sauce mix. The foochok is fragrant and yummy.

This stall sells old school wanton noodles with char siu, pork lard and pork lard crackers. Have both outdoor and indoor seating. Generous toppings, friendly price and nice owner. Taste awesome especially with pickled chilli.
