Today is my first stop to this restaurant. Its a restaurant hidden in nowhere. Found out already been here for 3 years.
Nestle in the jungle by the road side from Kuah Town to Ulu Melaka. Small, basic, clean, comfortable and yet very nice restaurant. I had set of Mutton Briyani of a small bowl of vegy curries, cucumber pickles(acar timun) and rose syrup drinks. Delicious.
Cooked as Johorian style.
For holiday makers in Langkawi, I really recommend if you looking something delicious to eat.
They also serve Asam Pedas and Masak Lemak Cili Padi.
Small ample parking place near the restaurant and clean toilet.

Located at quiet and place nearby some forest. The restaurant itself give me some calming effect with the nice greenery plants being planted in the area. Some old and woody interior decorations.
The food has the Johorean signature if I'm not mistaken.. The briyani are quite similar to Johor Gam Briyani. Tried the Kambing Set and Ayam Set. The briyani taste great for me. I love the distinctive flavor of the homemade briyani masala. Also tried the Masak Lemak Cili Api. The masak lemak is awesome. The spicyness is just nice.. Not too heavy. And the thick masak lemak gravy are just nice. All set of food came with Air Sirap.

β β β β β Saw this place while driving past it few weeks ago. Decided to come here after coming back from gunung raya. Good decision, I ordered the soup with roti bengali and my wife ordered the Briyani daging. Both were equally good, portion size is big and one can comfortably eat till full.
Each Briyani comes in a set ie with drinks. Really surprised to find good food in the middle of the jungle.

The ambiance is kampong style, rustic atmosphere. Very Nice!
Briyani rice - cooked to perfection with the fragrance felt from the kitchen. Portion is just nice.
The kambing soup is a definite must try.
Be patient when the Machik takes the order and prepares the meal.. she takes time and passion to ensure every order is served with pride.
