★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered nasi lemak telur, roti kosong, mee kari and set telur 1/2 masak with roti bakar.
The nasi lemak was acceptable. Nasi, sambal, timun and ikan bilis.
The roti kosong was horrid. Zero flavour and very bland.
Mee kari was just ok. But I remember back then, me and my family wouldn’t mind traveling the distance to go here and have a taste of their mee kari. Their current mee kari doesnt come close to their previous taste. But still, it was ok. Had those sponge thingy that all mee kari should have.
And lastly: the roti bakar + telur 1/2 masak set. It took them so long to deliver the food. Waited very long for this and ended up getting COLD eggs that were still raw (1/4 masak je). The roti bakar was also cold. Barely toast. Taste weird.
Oh and i also tried their vietnamese coffee which was hella sweet. The kind of sweetness that can get your legs cut.
The environment was good. There’s a playground for the kids and has a kampung vibe to it which makes it seems cozy but sadly the food is not worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warung Nek Munah is just a kampung style, kedai makan tepi jalan offering simple breakfast menus at very reasonable price. Be mentally prepared when its crowded (lol) because you will have to wait for quite a while for your oders to arrive. Hey! that happens every so often in every kedai makan kan?? So, chill n relax. Nobody's perfect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me who's been eating nasi lemak for decades...nek munahs nasi lemak ranks as the best amongst others. Real authentic kampung styled. Dont forget that beef broth too with chunks of the tenderest meat probably cooked for hours the previous night. Maximum deliciousness.
I probably discovered Nek Munah stall maybe 12 or 13 years ago whilst on the way to Mcca. Nek is getting older and I really do hope shes got her children to continue her recipes. Pictures dont do justice...just go try

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good breakfast spot. Anyhow, most menu will be finished by 10am. Be sure to come early for their best menu, nasi lemak and variety type of roti. Service is average. Recommended.
