I was lucky as the fish was just out of the fryer, the flesh is moist and the batter was super crunchy. Please ask for price first as it can get a bit on the pricier side if you order premium stuff like prawn & squid. Overall the food is super good.

Sata is good, quite hot but tasty. Fried prawns are fresh, love it. Fritters are regular, nothing special. I would not recommend the laksa, too watery for me, not enough flavour. Also, leng chee kang is not what it's expected, came with 1 piece of canned lychee, lots of barley, sultanah, cincau, and sugared melon, really weird.

Good food, relatively well ventilated thanks to some trees providing shade. We were expecting a hot and stuffy restaurant due to the low roof but it was quite a pleasant experience. No parking, so people have to park by the roadside.

I dropped by this place on 18 Dec 2021, not realising it was before their opening time. The friendly uncle (pakcik) there told me their opening hours was around 12 to 7pm, and asked me to be safe since it was raining heavily. We came back the next day and realised that there's a parking area for those wanting to stop by at the restaurant. We only planned to have some keropok lekor but ended up eating lots since the restaurant provides an assortment of kuih muihs, fried snacks, desserts and even meals. You can choose to have laksam (this was a tasty, decent-sized bowl with lots of kuah and raw vegetables!), laksa Penang, mee kari, nasi goreng with lauk and packet nasi lemak. There's fried seafood, cekodok, grilled SATA (this tasted sweet and not to my liking but it was very cheap - RM2 for 5 pieces!), fried ikan kembong (my dad loved this - he said it was cheap and very fresh!) and cucur udang (I gave this a miss - it tasted mostly of flour). The keropok lekor (3 pieces for RM1) were small-ish but delicious. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They didn't have the crispy type of keropok lekor that you can find often in Klang Valley, though. We came back on the following day before 6pm. Most of the kuih-muihs were gone by then. I had laksa Penang (it was okay but a bit watery for my taste), mee goreng (nice and a bit spicy) and tepung pelita (at that's what I think it is - but unlike most versions, the syrup is packed separately and tasted totally bland without it haha). In the evening, bear in mind that most of the kuih muihs and lekor will be gone but if all you want is the udang goreng and ikan goreng, they keep frying it even in the evenings (their bestsellers mah) and people come in droves to buy them so don't worry. UPDATE: We came back on 15 May 2022 before 1pm. Because it was a long weekend, the place was packed. The famous fried fish and prawns were delicious as usual but you have to wait and queue for food (mostly the fish) as there are a lot of people. Upon arrival, the coconut stall had not opened yet but we were able to have some coconut water before we left. It is a bit watery, with ice, but still refreshing after having fried food. If you want, you can order the large (RM5) - it's really HUGE! - or the Regular (RM3). You can try the equally refreshing lin chee kang (dessert with toppings) as well if you like. There wasn't any keropok lekor sold there today but there are plenty other roadside stalls that do.

Good quality fried squids, prawns and fish. We were the only Chinese family there but everyone was so friendly. Whole family of three ate so much and bi was a very reasonable 60rm. The fish coconut paste ( in banana leafs) was superb but couldn’t eat too much.
