★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kelantanese local homecook dishes well known in Malaysia. The best nasi kerabu outlet around, equivalent to the kelantan nasi kerabu. The rice is a big portion and the meat is well grilled.
Warung Ambo is rather famous, especially among the Shah Alam folks. They are also rated highly online If you read through the reviews, you’d notice common words like ‘excellent food’, ‘good Kelantanese food’ and ‘good value for money’.
To get here, use Waze or google map, it will lead you right to Warung Ambo’s doorstep. This eatery occupies the corner lot of a quiet row of shops. So, parking was really easy, plenty available all around.
You do not have to worry about seating as Warung Ambo occupies two shop lots. Plenty of table and chairs to sit at. The crowd in the queue tends to move, so even if it is full house, an empty table will soon be available.
On my other visit I tried the nasi dagang, which is an eastern state delicacy. It comes with an egg curry and a piece of tuna curry slice. It taste really good. The spices are well balance and if you prefer a bit hot you can take the chilly salsa.
This is one of my favourite eating place. THE Lady owner is kind. Service is good and pricing compatitive. Recommended for everyone for the place and menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good but the staff not friendly at all. Asked to add on drink at counter and the staff refused to take order. The excuse given due to too many order in line. If you think your shop is famous enough then you need to speed up your work or hire more staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cafe situated in a housing neighborhood serves possibly the best nasi kerabu in town. Many other add-on dishes are also available. Menu is on the wall and for the quantity and quality, it's very reasonably priced!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their nasi kerabu is one of the best in Shah Alam. It's not dry albeit the chilli sambal a bit spicy for me. Nasi dagang is just average, nothing special.
Their drinks, specifically the green tea ambo, is very sweet. Potong kaki punya level. Ginger tea is so-so.
But they need to improve a lot on their ordering process. You need to queue for 10-15 mins before they take your order. Since they have categorize their menu in numbers, why don't they just let people sit>fill in their orders in a simple form(if can go digital, that would be even better)> pass the form at counter and there you go!
