★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant has local menu using ikan baung and ayam kampung. The fish cooked with masak tempoyak style and many menus done with chicken. Other meats such mutton and beef are also available. Fresh local vegetables are dipped with budu sauce. Many crowds during lunch time. The price is on the higher side as they used expensive fish and chicken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best baung tempoyak in Terengganu. Abundance of choice for different lauk pauk besides tempoyak. And they served delicious “ketupat sotong”. Staffs are friendly and very attentive, Fast service. Can get very crowded during lunch hour 12-1pm.
The store is right after a bridge. Slow down so you won’t miss it! Worth the drive to try their tempoyak.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was planning to have lunch some place else, but passed through this gem along the way and saw rows of big pots and signs of gulai ikan sungai. Took ikan baung masak lemak tempoyak and oh boy was the gulai heavenly! The tempoyak were also abundant and I took a couple of helpings - really out of this world!!! You will never regret having your meals here, any time of the day. The owner was also very nice, always smiling and the workers were very attentive. 5 thumbs up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For my international friends, this joint may be suitable for beginners to Terengganu Malay local foods. We bought a takeaways and upon reaching home immediately dived into it. 2 fried chicken, 2 gulai ayam, 3 baung tempoyak and 15 pcs of sambal udang (RM 5 for 3 pcs). No rice or drinks. Total damage = RM65. What do you think, reasonable or pricey? Its subjective, agreed. Frankly, I'd prefer the ikan baung tempoyak to be more spicy . Please do justice to the succulent fish. Today the tempoyak gravy was rather bland and the prawn were not fresh.
