★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place: cozy, under a huge tree, with dine-in seats and 1 of the traditional ways in which we had breakfast back in the day some 20 years ago. This is kampung cafe. Wonderfully nostalgic.
Service: there a few ladies working here who are fast and efficient. Only down side, 1 of them seems moody all the time. But, otherwise, it's fine. Speed matters.
Price: cheap and reasonable.
Food:
1) Nasi dagang - wonderfully close to the original one in Kelantan with their red rice, and slightly sweet sauce and choiced fish and pickled cucumber salad. Verdict: if you want to taste Kelantan food, this is a place to get it.
2) PULUT INTI (RM2 for 4) - noticed that I BOLD the entire name of this food because this place sells THE BEST pulut inti in Kuantan. Hands down. And considering this is a dying dessert, many don't know how to make it. Only down side in this dish, is the lack of brown sugar coconut filling. Top this up just a little, and it'll be superbly perfect!! Verdict: MUST TRY for all pulut inti fans out there.
