β β β β β Full house and still people coming at 3pm. Must be awesome right. So we get dish from owner's recommendation and satisfied with it. Nasi Ayam Penyet, Nasi Keli Penyet, Asam Pedas Kepala Salmon n Jenahak Masak Lemak. Rice come with ulams and hot sambal. Not forget signature dish of Warung Terlolap Mato which is come in 2flavor, original/spicy with sauce n Cheese. Maintained that very quality services/taste, definitely will come and taste it again. Full n happy tummy ?

β β β β β This unassuming little gerai is located just across the road from the very famous restaurant that Chef Gordon Ramsay visited. We originally wanted to visit that restaurant but it was full to the brim and wasn't able to accept walk in. We decided to cross the road and try our luck with this gerai instead.
I guess luck was on our side because the food turned out to be quite good. The food tasted like it came out from someone's home, honest and rustic. The masak lemak, which is the state's speciality was thick, flavoursome and came with a kick, all the boxes checked. The sambal bilis with petai is simple, unassuming and tasty. The pucuk paku (forest fern) was fresh and crunchy. All good. We also shared the durian cendol to round up the meal, it was creamy, not stingy on the durian and not overly sweet, the gula melaka provided a creamy smokey taste.
The owners of the gerai is friendly and polite. We look forward to come back whenever we are in the area.

β β β β β Very interesting choice of cendol desserts including durian cendol; and a special cendol - combination of all cendol types (see menu). Sweetness just right but can ask for extra gula melaka for sweeter taste.
Also sell smoked duck, chicken and other meats.
