β β β β β It was such a bad shopping experience at here. I am a regular customer of Watson and Iβm holding the Elite membership. Yet, I was being treated ridiculously rude when i requested them to split bills politely. Iβve no idea why she was frustrated and keep on telling me that the company will βrugiβ if they split bills for my purchases.
Plus, being a regular customer, I used to be requesting so at different outlets, and I never being accused for doing so. Aside, I was considerate enough to wait until there is no one queueing only go to counter since I knew that I am having special request in term of billing.
If Iβm asking them to do something ridiculous, they find it offended or unhappy with it, Iβm ok with their terrible reaction. They even assumed that I canβt understand Malay and gossiped about me in front of me.
Iβm from service industry. I served countless of customers and many ridiculous ones. But, being a professional salesperson or front desk personnel, donβt you think that basic manners & SOP are required?
I donβt agree that customer is always right. However, it doesnβt mean that customer canβt request for something extra which might add on your workload (if you think splitting bills is so troublesome). As in you do not know why I need to split bills. There are many reasons can be behind a small request.
I do think, being a professional personnel, fulfilling customersβ most requests (reasonable ones) is a must.
I really hope Watson could look into this and provide better training to them.
It is really sad to hold the so called VVIP membership but being treated like youβre no one and not even being appreciated.
