★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a terrible experience with this place and will not recommend at all. In fact, I am shocked they are 4.5 stars.
Background: It was an impulse decision to get a Brazilian wax before my beach holiday. When I got there, both the receptionist and later my therapist kept on recommending laser, which to me was still fine. I insisted that I wanted to get just a wax, then only the therapist said my hair was to short to proceed. I’ve always wanted to try laser and since she gave me a 50% discount, I thought ok I’ll go ahead and try anyway.
Here are my two reasons why my experience was so bad:
1. I thought they were DISHONEST. The therapist had already known that I wanted to get a wax because I was going on a beach holiday. She pushed for the laser but after the treatment, I realised there were stubs. I actually thought during the laser it will remove the hair completely. When I pressed on and asked can I continue shaving during my trip, she said “no”. I said to her that I’ve mentioned I’ll be going on a trip. She then told me that the hair will fall off by itself. I took her word for it. But it didn’t - so either their treatment didn’t work or she pushed for me to get a laser treatment knowing that it wasn’t a suitable choice for me and my main objective for the trip. I had to continue shaving for the entire trip!
2. They are extremely pushy. They pushed for laser treatments all the way which to me was a bit annoying. When I was done with the procedure they told me to sign a package. I said no thanks. Then another lady came to ask me what credit card I was using. I thought she wanted to proceed with my payment. To my horror she said “don’t worry, your credit card can do instalment plan. I can do for you!” Now at this point I was really annoyed, I quickly settled my bill and left with the most unpleasant feeling.
I am definitely interested in laser hair removal, but I will definitely not do it here at wax candy. There are so many other places that have this option, please avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is clean.The quality of service was good too but the only thing turned me off was the therapist was trying to push me so hard for their laser treatment. For 10 minutes she kept insisting me even though I said no.
Also she was trying so hard to sell their products even after saying no multiple time.

After 2 weeks, I was so surprise on the amazing results that happened to me that my hairs drop almost 40% only in 1 treatment!!!❤️❤️❤️. I have make an appointment with Wax Candy to sign up their DPL package as compare to other hair removal parlours out there, the result are truly satisfying and job was carried out clean and also good ambient when visited the shop. Truly satisfying and couldn’t ask for more, thanks you Wax Candy, finally I found YOU❤️
