β β β β β Not recommended. They are very unprofessional and after 20 minutes interview they will not finish the transaction. Not recommended for high amounts, specifically not recommended for foreigners

Should have read the reviews here since one previous person said the same thing: Western Union allows you to set up your transaction online to lock in the rate and fee and then you can go and pay the money at a shop. I went to the shop thinking that I could do it on my phone there since I have the WU App. I asked them if I could do that: set it up online and pay there and they said "no, you can do it from the second time". Ended up paying 155MYR for the transfer charge instead of 10MYR.
