I love tofufa and soy bean. This is definitely one of the best in Ipoh. It used to be ran by someone else but now is taken over or taken back by the owner. Quality is still there.

The competition for the best tau foo far (soybean curd) and soybean drink in Ipoh is intense. Every local has their favourite. Our family favourite is Woong Kee in Jalan Ali Pitchay, off Jalan Yang Kalsom. Reasonably priced yet tasty - silken smooth bean curd and sugar syrup with a strong infusion of ginger, which I like. Reasonably priced yet delicious bean curd and soybean drink.

The purpose of us trying out Woong Kee tau fu fa (beancurd dessert) is to verify if it's the same standard adopted by Dao in SS15, Subang. We hereby confirm that the standard is the same, almost a xerox level. Good job, Dao, for bringing Ipoh beancurd dessert to SS15, Subang. Nack to Woong Kee of Ipoh, the texture is firm yet silky smooth, and with their signature ginger syrup, it's a heavenly combination. For those who do not like ginger, you can opt for the plain syrup or other available syrup, but to us, the heavenly combination is the gingery sugar syrup with Woong Kee signature silky smooth beancurd. At RM1.90, it is really very reasonable for its portion, compared to Funny Mountain charging RM3! Those who feel like having beancurd dessert, waste no more resources and time. Just head straight to Woong Kee, and we guarantee you satisfaction.

Ordered beancurd jelly with ginger sugar (takeaway) RM2.60 and soybean milk RM2.60. Although the jelly was smooth but it lacked the soybean taste. This place is overrated, mainly tourists comes here.

Ordered the too fu fah and soya bean take away. You can also eat it there or in your car, but there's no real table and chairs. The too fu fah and soya bean were quite delicious. The too fu fah was really smooth and the ginger sauce was nice on it. Soya bean was nice too. Despite the queue and some waiting time, the staffs were polite and friendly.

We were early...no line, even had time for small talk n take snapshot for us, nice chaps....so fortunate cos after serving us 5 minutes later...a line started..patrons just keep coming. It was silky good and we can choose choice syrup with the bean curd e.g. ginger, white sugar or brown sugar syrup ..?????. We even packed to go!! I ordered the different flavoured soya drink for a change.

Nice smooth beancurd which comes in 7 types of syrup, original, ginger, black sugar, osmanthus, blue pea, chrysanthemum and rose. Other ingredients can be added eg peanuts, sesame, kidney beans etc. Soy drinks are good too. Service is fast and good
