★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a quiet place. Food like delicious laksa available here. The towchooi here is fresh and clean in an open area. Worth a visit with family. Durians readily available here during the season. No reason to hate this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful, peaceful town with delicious hawker and nasi kandar food. A very cozy and suitable place to spend your retirement years in peaceful Balik Pulau. Life is slow moving. Unfortunately, the prices of properties aren't favourable to us , locals.

A simple, relax but happening in day time town that you are able to savvy many good food while take a slow and relax stroll at the town to eye for the diamonds of your eyes. From branded to normal brand durians, langsat, King nangka, rambutans, mangosteen(above mentioned are seasonal fruits) and delicious local food such as assam, siam laksa, fried koay Teow, handmade buns, and others, you will definitely find no regrets. Furthermore, there are many nature places to explore around Balik Pulau, goat farms, horses and animal farms, fruits orchard, waterfalls, greenery good views. good to bring family for a day out.
