Put this plate in front of you, all your appetite comes back. It is that fragrant and it is that temptingly tasty.

Good enough char koay teow with wok hei and balanced taste. Not too oily. Best part- only $5.50.

Passed by this place and thought we’d give it a try and the food impressed is! A simple kway Teow thing had so much flavour and the kaya butter toast was so fragrant you can smell the coconut flavour!

Quite a lot food choices despite it is small. The food here are actually nice and I personally recommended the char koay teow. Also, the lady boss is so friendly and efficient when serving us. As it is typical street food standard, so the environment quite messy.

Tan Jetty curry mee is housed here amidst the thriving clan jetties. The curry mee style is a gastronomical twin of the outlet at Sunsea OUG. The broth is fragrant and sweet with all the traditional ingredients of large cockles, pigs blood, cuttlefish, tofu croutons, beansprout and a mint leaf top. A bowl is at an extravagant RM5.00, no small change in Penang.

Char kway teow was good with strong wok hey taste. Curry Mee is great with the mint leave, do not that curry Mee only open in the morning.

A classic Penang roadside Cafe at the Jetty. The food here is definitely understated and is one of Penang's hidden gems. Come for the best curry noodles, great wonton noodles, prawn noodles, oyster porridge and amazing local butter roasted coffee that has intense aroma. I make it a point to visit in the morning before 10am every time I come to Penang. Service is very prompt and friendly too. You don't want to miss this.
