★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered banana leaf rice with fried chicken. It comes with stir fried cabbage, papadum and curry sauce (+1 cut potato?). RM11 for the food. The fried chicken tastes good but the others are just so-so. We ordered also asam boi limau ais, but surprisingly it is RM6 per cup. I feel it is very expensive for the drink. The drink price is not written on the menu selection that sticks to wall. I personally think that there will be many better places to go for a decent banana leaf rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of oldest banana leaf in town! The food is simple and delicious. Expect a long queue and the foods tend to finish fast if planning to come over after 12.30pm.
Space is an issue there as the shop is relatively small. Avoid visiting in large groups. Only table of 3 (max.) Available.
Otherwise, enjoy a nice and simple banana leaf meal.
Ooh, the asam boi juice is a must try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been coming to this shop for the longest of time, over 10 years maybe. The food is delicious. It's your basic chicken curry and fried chicken but definitely worth the hype as the flavours are distinct. Although the shop is small and can get pretty crowded but it'll still keep you coming back for more. The other special thing is that despite serving Indian food, the drink orders are managed by a chinese uncle. Love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally got to try one of the OGs in Klang! Had their nasi ayam with request of less nasi (explains why my rice portion is smaller), it didn’t disappoint at all and I definitely recommend their fried chicken! Come early at 11.30am sharp if you’d like to avoid a super long queue!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice small joint to have fast served good on a banana leaf. I feel this place is over-hyped a bit. It can be difficult to locate this place since no board outside to identify from a bit far. Very ordinary seating arrangement and very limited food items although the price is very economical. They served rice with chicken curry, cabbage veggie, papadum, rasam, chicken bakar, fried fish. Taste is decent. The apple juice was good. Don't expect the place to be very clean and this place is crowded so be prepared to wait in the queue outside at the gated entrance. Was a pleasant surprise to see the name Yap Kee and Banana leaf together and also to find a Chinese uncle serving along with the Tamilian staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty decent banana leaf rice here in Klang. Hidden in an old Chinese kopitiam you find this basic straight forward banana leaf rice with turmeric cabbage, papadom, heap of rice with fish curry and your choice of chicken, fish or mutton.
I had the fish, a nice big slice, fresh and delicious. My friend had the fried chicken option and he likes it too.
Each rice set was RM11 which I felt the fish set was much more worth it.
Drink wise I had the asam boi which is nice.
Queue at this place can be a while, it took us about 15min to get our seat.

Located inside it is Restoran Ghuhan who is offering the only average traditional banana leaf dish with choose your own fried chicken/fish/veg, curry chicken/fish/mutton. Strict SOP ie entrance upon a free table. Another separate Q for take away. Quick serving of fluffy rice, side fried cabbage with mustard seed & yellow ginger powder & crushed slightly oily papdam + all important chicken curry.... All served on traditional banana leaf. Unlimited serving of rice, cabbage & papdam. Environmental friendly Banana leaves are disposed after each use. Ask coffee shop owner of drink pricing before ordering.
