★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the top tier, among many choices of curry noodles in Ipoh. Popular among the locals for many years and now well known for tourists. Curry smells good and is thicker than others. During normal days, they serve some dimsum and glutinous rice with kaya but not available anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious ? Curry was thick and flavourful and the portion that they give in my opinion is the perfect amount for breakfast as it wasn't too heavy and it kept is fed till lunch time. Had the dry curry with kuey teow and chicken and char siew.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEST dry curry noddles in ipoh Town! we can't find this in KL or PJ. Ordered 1 big with chicken, char siew & siew yuk, 1 small plate with char siew & siew yuk and 2 kopi ice, total = RM22.00. The curry sauce was creamy, yummy, tasty (pleasant curry taste, not spicy). Good service, friendly worker and clean coffee shop. Will go again ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely tasty dry curry noodles!! Highly recommended!! The glutinous rice (Lo mai gai) with curry is so good too! Their white coffee is nice as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stop going for beansprouts chicken, dimsum or other touristy food and try this. Have had a lot of famous Ipoh food and they are nowhere near this.
The curry was thick yet not overpowering. Just mildly spicy and it's so flavourful with the mixture of dry curry and special mix of soy sauce.
But do come early as they sell out pretty fast, not much choices left when I came around 12.30.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 of us ordered these 2 dishes, tastes exactly how I remember it when I was little. Love the fragrant of the curry, dry or soup. However as I grow older, i feel now the intensity of curry is overwhelming. Not an everyday food, but a must-have whenever in Ipoh

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drive by this legendary curry mee restaurant literally every day going around town but I have not eaten here in so many years. But today was the day that was about to change! Part of the reason is because parking can can be a little bit tricky and there is normally a lineup. However, we were DETERMINED to try their legendary dry and soup curry mee this morning and they did not disappoint!
For the dry, we ordered a mixture of noodle and ho fun and for the soup, we ordered a mixture of noodles and vermicelli both with 叉燒 and chicken. Unfortunately their 燒肉 was already sold out. The dry noodle is very rich and intense in flavour. Truly a breakfast of champions to start your day off with a jolt! Curry is rich and flavorful but still perfectly balanced and not too salty or too hot, just right! The soup curry was also very well-balanced with their delicious smokey 叉燒 and silky smooth pieces of chicken. COVID-19 protocols and best practices were strictly enforced by the boss lady sitting at the front entrance making for a safe and delicious dining experience. Overall, a delicious breakfast and enjoyed a small piece of Ipoh's rich culinary tradition.
