Some pasar pagi wantan noodles taste better than them ... With better flavour and portion and prices as well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been to Ah Yee wantan mee restaurant a few times already. Usually I don't patronize eateries in Taman Muda because of the quality of food there and the cleanliness of most eateries there.
But, I must say I am my quite surprise that Ah Yee's place serves delicious and good quality food for my taste bud.
The butterfly pea nasi lemak quite fragrant and what I liked most is the sambal served together with the nasi lemak - so traditional with anchovies and onions in the sambal, [in which an old school sambal should be, not just plain empty chilli sambal with no soul at all] not too spicy that can overpowered my taste bud! They have rendang chicken, curry potatoes, curry chicken and sambal sotong for customers to choose from.
The 5 spice beef noodles - with noodles or just beef only, taste good too but...a little more of that 5 spice would certainly give it a more kick to the beef broth.
Wantan mee is good, very al dente and no heavy alkaline taste in their noodles which is to my liking. Can be served with barbecue pork, both soup or dry noodles. Or you may choose dry noodles with curry chicken on it. They serve dumplings too aka sui kow. They also have half boiled eggs but no serving of toast.
The hot coffee, Nescafe and milk tea which I ordered - quite good!
Prices here is a bit high though but I think that's the price all over in Taman Muda! If you want to try out the nasi lemak, you may have to wait until 8am to 8.30am sometimes, even though their shop opens at 7.30am daily except for Wednesday, they're closed.
Ah Yee's eatery is very neat and clean and brightly lit too!
