★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Messy & noisy; packed during meal times so be prepared to ‘hawk’ around for available seats. Great satay (pork) that is tasty even though it does not contain much fatty bits. The mackeral otak is also not to be missed too - flavourful and spicy! Didnt particularly like the wanton noodles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This coffee shop seemed to be popular with the locals. At about 3.00 pm, all the tables were taken up. We had to wait a few minutes before we got one. There were many stalls located at the side of the coffee shop.
Observing for a while for the most busy stall, we ordered Ah Choy Wantan Mee located at the back. We also ordered pork satay two stalls away. Both the wantan mee and satay were mediocre. The char siew of the wantan mee wasn’t barbecued, just probably boiled and colored red. The black sauce lacked flavor. The pork satay and and it’s sauce weren’t outstanding.
Nice Food otak otak which some food bloggers recommended was just next to Ah Choy but we didn’t try. Also recommended was Mr Otak Otak located opposite across the road was not open yet.
It seems that the wantan mee served in Johor is different from the ones in Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya. The Johor mee strands are bigger in diameter, slightly bigger than even the yellow noodle. The ones in KL/PJ are thinner, stiffer and springy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lousy Service
Waited 20 minutes to clear this Table
Now you have business due to the otak otak Shop( the best stall did not open today)
In the future , Good Luck to you
Chinaman style business which aim to make money but next aim to offer best Services
I would never choose to come except that my Brother in Law like the Otak only

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The must eat char siew rice Muar style. But don't compare it with the Cantonese style as this is what we grew up eating till now! The taste remains awesome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The minced pork noodle is not bad as well as the 2 otak-otak stalls competing each orhers in the same kopitiam. Did not try the satay. Normal price for the noodle should be RM4 but increased to RM5 during 2018 CNY. The otak-otak sold at RM0.70 per stick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good kopi 店
Fair variety of food
Won ton noodle ? 雲吞麵 is great authentic old school taste
Congee 粥 is wonderful long hours cooking style
Very reasonable quality food
Just watch out the social distance with your next door table. Often it pretty close.
