★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small toilet and not well maintained - however still can be accepted. Mineral water and coffee are double of price - like in an airport. Advantage for bus driver as they may get discount or free food but not for passengers. You can eat here when you don't have any choice (if you travel by bus). My 2 cents. Cheers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to stop over as this place has a food court and food souvenirs for you to buy home. However, the foods (snack) are expensive. Prices of cuttlefish and snacks are marked up. There are many bakeries there selling traditional puffs. One of them is 明安 马蹄酥 which is highly recommended by the locals. It is freshly baked and packed, priced at RM12 for a pack (10 pieces). The packaging was warm. Very delicious and one of the best 马蹄酥! You can ask them for a sample to try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Much cleaner than I remember this place to be. Was here last, a few years back. A welcomed pit-stop along the highway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most expensive and lousy food can found here. Chicken rice 2 plate with vege already $23, little portion and tasteless. Others food sell here even worse. Bussiness here is to chop all bus customers travelling on north south expressway.Bring yr food if u can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have this amazing salted egg yolk tambun from the shop 明安 (Ming An). 5 pcs 16.50 RM. Fresh out of the stove. And basic amenities like toilet etc. Also bought the ginger powder without sugar. They have bentong ginger powder but that has sugar mixed in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brings back old memories. Place hasn’t changed at all after all these years and even so, with it’s rundown quality, I think that’s what gives the place its charm. The only thing they’ve changed is that the stalls are open 24/7 now and the iconic fish fountain was repainted (a stunning gold, wow!).
To sum it up, it (was and) still is an overpriced rest stop for buses carrying tourists, but it’s worth visiting just to relive the old days. The seats and tables are old school canteen style and the toilets could use an upgrade or two, but I like it this way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rest point for coach drivers. Coaches would usually stop here where drivers can take a 25mins break. The food joints have started operation. Toilets are clean and many. Travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore.
