★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An joyous afternoon well spent. My partner and I were able to complete an "able-to-hang-on-wall" painting with zero previous experience ?, with lots of guidance and assistance of course.
Michael (our tutor/mentor/shop owner - not sure what is the term to be used here) is good in many ways, he provided good guidance, get us good coffee, add good pinch of humour to our day.
I'll definitely find a chance for a second visit. I'd also shared my experience with few friends and expect to see their smiling face there in Yorokobi. Thanks a bunch for the wonderful day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a 3-hour workshop to complete a piece of artwork. Cost RM108. Good teacher to teach on the colouring and drawing, eventually I used 4 hours to complete this good piece of work. Satisfied. Recommend to those who want to try something new.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re looking for a place where to relax, de-stress while getting creative with art and enjoy delicious coffee/food, this Art Cafe would be the best. They have the best coffee available in their humble kitchen.
The ambiance of this shop was so relaxing, and Michael who manages it is highly capable. I could not ask for more because everything that I needed was provided. Well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a very fun, pleasant and special experience at Yorokobi artjamming session with instructor Michael!
We saw Yorokobi Art Studio from social media and it seems very unique, so we decided to give it a try. Its a weekday afternoon, so there were only 3 of us during the artjamming session. Its a 3 hour painting session with a cup of free drink.
Once we arrived, we were given multiple booklets of sample drawing to choose our desired one. Once all of us have chosen our drawing, Michael started to explain and give guidance to each of us on how to start the painting, as we all have very little experience in drawings.
Michael is being very attentive, friendly, patience and detailed in guiding us.. He will first demo to me on to draw a particular part, before letting me to try on my own..Whenever he noticed one of us seem to get stucked, he will guide us and give some suggestions to us. Also, when we accidentally did a mistake and ruin a little part of our painting, Michael will help to fix it, in just few minutes, the mistake will masked so well, that no one will notice it??
From time to time, Michael will help us to take pictures. Not only this, Michael is being very encouraging as well. He keep on encouraged us to keep trying and reassure us that imperfections is very normal to beginners.
Three of us have spent about 3.5 hours to finally finish our acrylic painting! One thing worth mentioning is, Michael do not hurry us to quickly finish the painting, even though he know we are going to exceed the time limit. He still guide us, help us, and take group pictures for us??
Overall, its awesome and I feel that Yorokobi artjamming is a very unique experience for busy working people to try different things and explore their inner thoughts. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try out special thing with their friends in weekends! ???
No experience is needed as guidance will be given and at the end of the session, each of us brought home our artwork~ ??
