★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service. Cake was ordered more than 2 weeks in advance and for 11-4pm delivery window. At 1.30pm, texted to say delivery changed to 4pm-6pm. Then at 545pm said delay further as no driver. No news from them from then on and only when I texted at 815pm they responded that they will deliver themselves. At 920pm, still no news and when I texted again for an update - said that ETA is 1015pm. Can't believe I had to wait for the whole day and when it finally arrived, all my guests have left! The owner did not seem to have a legit explanation to why the delay was so bad and wasn't apologetic at the inconvenience they have caused me and offered free cake for future purchase? Unacceptable service. Please don't purchase with them if you are purchasing for parties, meetings etc which are important as you may not get the cake as scheduled

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The signature Pandan layer cake was rather dry both externally and inside too. Not sure if it was freshly made or left in the fridge for a couple of days. The desiccated coconut was dry. Taste was ok, leaning more to the bland side.

taste 3/5 - too sweet
service 2/5 - they WhatsApp & asked me what time do I need the cake, I said possible to make it around 11am-1130am (the delivery time mentioned on the website is 11am-4pm), they replied too rush for them. I mean, if you can't make it early, just let me know the time that you're planning to send or the time that you're able to send, don't ask me to pick a time then tell me you can't make it.
In the end they requested to send before 5pm, and send it at around 415pm.

Ordered a pandan cake 2 days before and wrote a note to deliver by 1030 AM. Order was confirmed via email. To double confirm, I searched for the YuBake contact and Whatsapp them on delivery day. They told me it can't be delivered by 1030 AM and will have to get a driver to pick it up. Fair. So I ordered a grab driver to come get around 12 PM. When the driver got there, they said the order is already sent out. And now 2 hours later, I still have not receieve the cake and had to pay the driver RM20 for being there.
Overall, terrible terrible service and communication.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 2 cakes (6” Christmas themed Pandan layered cake + 5” Choc Raspberry cake) on 23/12/2021, scheduled delivery on 25/12/2021.
Received message on 25/12/2021 saying will cancel my ordered due to shortage of ingredient and will full refund to me.
Then i ask if they have any other cakes available, they offered log cake or opera cakes which were not my preference. So at the end i agreed for full refund, then suddenly the Yubake person texted say they have 8” size pandan cake available in the kitchen.
So i agreed to take it, while the remaining balance will be refunded.
I am not sure is that their sales tactic or what.
They delivered the cake luckily just before dinner. My Christmas celebration almost ruined by their roller coaster style of poor management and poor communication between front and back end.
Wow, what a bad experience. It will be my first and last time ordering from Yubake.
Now i am still waiting for them to refund the remaining balance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had ordered two slides of cakes via delivery. Very recommended the Durian Millecrepe because it is very very delicious and full of durian flesh!! The durian is also very fresh. Overall it is very reasonable for the price and taste.
Another one lychee strawberry cake is just normal taste for me but I like the cake not too sweet, and the combination of lychee and strawberry is quite match.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite cake shops. Repeated ordering Pandan cake & Peach cake many times, but this time I want to try other flavours too.
Strongly recommend Durian Millecrepe, it is super delicious and full of durian flesh!! ?
And the price is reasonable, I bought these slices during the promotion, each slice is only RM9.9.
All are made from fresh fruit. Yubake's cakes never let me down!??
