β β β β β If u want to taste traditional Pahang State malay cuisine, then this is d place. It is situated in Jerantut district. This restaurant is popular for its 'patin tempoyak' and 'gulai asam rong kenerak'. This restauranr had been on air thru tv3 channel during 2 years ago. Enuf said. Asam rong is made from fermented rubber tree nuts while kenerak is fresh water fish. Keberak and asam rong is good partner?. There is small battle on whose patin tempoyak is good...jerantut or temerloh. Because temerloh is so synonim to gulai patin tempoyak..then people will go to temerloh to eat patin tempoyak...well please give it a try to eat at this restaurant but beware of the spiciness of their gulai patin tempoyak.

β β β β β The menu options are also not varied..I like vegetables but the vegetable menu is not much choice. The food is delicious..but the price is expensive..in my opinion the workers not customer friendly.

β β β β β Love the service by mak anjang herself. The staff ia also very friendly and helpfull. The gulai rong is to die for. If you plan to visit, plan your time wisely. As its tend to get very packed during lunch time. Especially during lunch break (1-2pm in weekdays).
