The cashier staff is kinda rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because of not well service at beside Fujiwara Tofa Shop that don't know is lady boss or what her attitude very not good , than I find this place much more bigger shop, very good service and they mark down those item that is invalid more easy to order and their aircond very nice cold..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are here for dessert, then it's a good try. We had 4 bowls of dessert, 2 plates of their signature mee, 2 plates of signature mee with fried chicken, 1 fried milk and 1 loh Mai chicken. The bill comes up to RM138+. Their so-called signature mee is just plain Ramen or 虾子面 (your choice) with a bit of spicy 干捞sauce. Not even a slice of vege and the price was RM9 per plate. Confirm not worth trying. The fried chicken is tasty but it was just the drumstick part of the chicken wing, as such it is really small. As for the loh Mai Kai, it was not heated properly causing the insides to be dry and not the usual stickiness. The dessert averagely cost RM10 to RM15 per bowl and the quantity can be shared if you have small appetite. Overall it is not a place I will go for desserts as ipoh has a lot of places offering this with better main or side dishes.

Asked staff but they mentioned it is refrigerator problem that caused it to be not cold enough. But they did not try to solve the issue. I hope they can fix it ASAP, as cold dessert is their signature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered their taro balls dessert with mango as add ons, which totalled up to Rm14.
Taste wise, normal. Nothing to shout about. The taro balls indeed slightly larger than standard market size and quite chewy.
The Temperature of the serving indeed around room temperature, not as cold as what we're expecting.
Environment considered clean. Well decorated.
Overall, this place is a good place which offers variety choices of dessert, pricing is more toward the expensive side.
Would return to try the rest of their menu (while hoping they would have improvements then).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before settling with the old style Ipoh tong sui (sweet soup), I decided to try out the sweet soups at Zhao Desserts. The younger generation has liven Ipoh with a whole new scene of eateries and the traditional sweet soup in Ipoh is not spared from this influence. Is it better this way? I did like the combination of sweet mangoes with gui lin gao (tortoise jelly). My brother liked his blue pea flower jelly with watermelon in almond milk. It was quite refreshing. The mango sago with pomelo was just passable. I've had better. Me being me, I did not settle with just something sweet. Those fried chicken wings was a nice way to finish off my late afternoon tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gui ling gao is really really sweet. The fried milk dessert is something new and kind of peculiar. Interesting to try but once is enough.
The desserts are average and priced on the higher side. However it is a good place in Ipoh to just relax and have some cold desserts. It’ll be nicer if they can improve on the taste and range of desserts available.
