Pricing slightly high but still reasonable
But after order the food served quite fast.
Restaurant layout is not design for big family or gathering, so if you go with a group then better plan early or maybe call first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything just too spicy for me. But if you could handle the heat, I believe it will be a pleasant yet delightful meal. But overall it's just too pricey. The meal cost me Rm120++ by eating some processed food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was lucky that I reached early and had to wait for only around 10mins for a table for 2. For bigger groups, I saw that the wait could be quite long.
The soup comes at Rm10.99. Each stick costs just Rm1 with the exception of some meat items that comes with 2 sticks instead. So cost-wise, this place is pretty affordable.
As for the food quality, the soup was quite nice but a little too spicy for me. Good for those who love spicy food. No complains for the processed food, because what could go wrong with processed food right? The meat were average, other than the pork belly which was extremely tough and cost me 2 sticks ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another malahotpot in soup version.Like their soup very much.And, there is a dessert made with the ingredient of howthorn, raisin, red date, sour plum and jelly, taste good with fresh and mild sweet flavour.Besides, there are a few of side dishes here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very busy chinese style restaurant which is non halal, selling traditional Beijing mala spicy food in soup. Alcohol can be found here. Price considered not cheap but standard within this area. Mala soup taste not bad. Quite crowded during dinner, some need to queue for seat. This restaurant accept mobile wallet like tng and boost, credit card and cash which is very convenient. There's digital order with just scan over qr code and order through mobile phone. then the staff will come to your table to double confirm the order. Fast and easy. Overall for this restaurant is good, recommend to try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I chose 微辣 for the soup-based, it's not spicy for me.. but everyone's tolerance towards spiciness is different.. next time I will try to go for 中辣 maybe.. The soup based is RM 10.90, you are able to choose 微微辣，微辣，中辣&大辣.. each stick costs RM 1.00
Due to covid-19, we are not able to pick the 串串 from the fridge ourselves, need to fill in the order request and the staff organises for us..
Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi does not offer frying of the 串串, everything is in soup-based. I ordered a can of TsingTao beer as well, eating ma la hot pot with beer is really enjoying..
overall, an average experience.
