★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Professional hair cut by McBE. Do be prepared to allocate time for the session though, as it’s done meticulously with great care, so ‘patience is a virtue’.
During Covid, the place takes necessary precautions with pre-visit declaration forms and the usual hand sanitizers and temperature scans. Besides, it’s also only 2 person being attended to at every one time so I suppose there is minimal contact to a certain extent.
All in all, good stuff. Highly recommended and will come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience at Mcbe's barber shop has only been positive! This is a place you go to get a haircut, yes, but actually you're getting the full-on barbershop experience. The shop is like stepping into a time machine - the music, the tools, the style and friendliness of Mcbe. Details are spot-on, he is obviously an perfectionist and that's why this haircut takes around 1 hour (75rm) - if you're in a hurry to 'just get a haircut', go somewhere else. Here we're talking attention to detail both haircut and the rest of the experience.
Overall, this is a place I would highly recommend to anyone. I can assure you will leave the shop with a great haircut, a smile on your face, and one experience richer in life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very disappointed with this place. I came with a picture of myself and asked Justin to do the same hair cut. The barber doesn't let you look at the mirror until an hour later when he's done with the haircut. Why???????????
He finished the haircut and told me 'i gave u a classic cut' which is totally not what I asked for. I don't mind paying the high price, but at least give me what I asked for.
Now I'm stuck waiting for my hair to grow longer to fix it.
EDIT: The owner of this place and main barber personally called me to clarify what were the issues I faced and apologized as well. I gotta give some props for that. If I ever go again, I would book an appointment with him as he has a great reputation too (as other reviews point out)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for a holiday from Germany and was looking for a good beard barber in Malaysia. My expectations were already high before I got there (due to all the good reviews online) but this place managed to even exceed my high exceptions! Where do i start, it's truly the entire experience. From the music selection, to the ambience in the shop and the actual trim itself was very well thought out to bring customers the best experience. Nothing is an afterthought in this place. The only problem I have right now is, it makes my regular haircut experience back in Germany seems so, well, 'inadequate!' haha. Well, I'll probably reserve all my cuts for Malaysia then! =)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is more than just a regular haircut, this is an experience in its own. Easily one of the best gentleman barbershops I've ever patronised. McBe was skilled with the scissors and the razor. He took his time and paid attention to the littlest details, to ensure I experienced the best shave and cut possible. He was also fascinating to speak with. I'll definitely return again in the future, and highly recommend anyone looking for a cut and/or shave to pop by 52 Barbers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time visiting this place, heard a lot of good reviews from those who visited so decided to give it a try.
It was the best decision ever, was easily the BEST HAIRCUT I have ever had. He really took his time, offered his advise on my hair, and is definitely a perfectionist! During the haircut, its hard to explain, but the ambience, mood and music really does silence the outer world! You’ll feel completely rejuvenated after leaving!
Definitely my go to barber from now on :)

52barbers only works by appointment by their website and it’s ridiculously easy to make your appointment!!
They are oficial Jameson Representative so you will be wel served by a glass of good Jameson Scottish whiskey!!
Barber technique is amazing and Mr Macbe really is gonna care for best barber experience!!
This area is surrounded by cool restaurant and coffee, so I suggest just go with time to enjoy neighbors Japanese/Thai fusion rest, wine bar, cafeteria etc.
