β β β β β Visited on a Saturday evening. Ordered the seafood set and I really love the steamed sotong! The shabu-shabu comes with 2 soup bases and you get unlimited access to the items at salad bar. I really love the korean fish cake (Eumok) which is not a very common item elsewhere, however the korean ramen soup taste exactly the same as the soup base of Shin Ramen haha XD (they do provide instant noodle and eggs at salad bar but my tummy has no space for them unfortunately) Only 2 types of cold drink are available but we can't really tell what are the flavours after tasting them so we opt for self service hot green tea but they did not provide glass for hot beverage :( have to make my green tea with the plastic cup and there is no ice to cool down my tea. Only 1 ice cream flavour and taste ok. Selling point is the steam box, can't seems to find elsewhere :) Do note that you need min 2 pax to order the steam box and the portion is definitely sufficient.

β β β β β Second time coming here for dinner and Michelle was extremely accommodating as usual! Very friendly staff, and great service! Food is delicious as well. Would definitely recommend coming here for a meal with your family!

Soup was seafood and ramen flavors.

β β β β β So i actually went with a couple of friends to 888 steam & shabu tonight. I got to say after viewing the food hype videos and the healthy korean steam style, i got to give this place just 1 star. The only reason it gets 2 is the owner Michelle is very courteous & attentive. Firstly we ordered the only 2 premium soups which was red spicy soup and ginseng chicken soup, both tasted like maggi/msg soup, it was hot steaming garbage. Secondly the only ice cream choice was mango which was just chemically in taste. Thirdly, the ready made food was sub par to say the least, fried rice + japchae tasted nothing like korean food and mere fillers. The fries sucked big time, hard and hollow insides. Fourthly to add insult injury, why are there vietnamese rolls in a korean themed steam spot? Confused much.. Lastly after the dining experience we just felt scammed and still hungry, just having your food steamed which adds no enhancement in flavors is pure gimmick and most importantly value is lousy. We had stamina set & pork/beef set and no unlimited refills of meat, refills is add on price. The least they should do is offer unlimited chicken/pork or beef for every set purchase besides the salad bar whih was just some choices of veg & processed items. Weirdly enough this place doesnt serve chicken. Compared to competitors or other steamboat spots, for that price, u would be flooded with good quality meats with decent or great tasting broth. Strongly recommended to not try.

β β β β β First time visit. Got see alot friend post. Almost a year plus. Than friend bring me visit say price reasonable and really nice. I visit it. Call the rm58/pax really good as the picture i show. Eat the steam first finish only eat the shabu, if really want use the salad bar just add on rm8, take the vege and meat (just inform staff). Thanks to the lady boss small treats. When i go weekday just few table. So really enjoy the place and can talk. Will visit again next.
