β β β β β The food is good, I loved the aglio oglio here as every spoonful of pasta is with bursting flavour and well seasoned. Carbonara is not to my liking, I think they mentioned this is a more authentic Italian version vs Malaysian style which is usually more creamy. The cheese used in carbonara is a more βpungentβ and I also my mistaken it as blue cheese. The complimentary dips and pasta kind of biscuits are a nice touch and itβs delicious. Service was prompt and friendly too. Recommended to go during weekdays as weekends usually are quite crowded. Price is on quite a high side for a neighbourhood restaurant. Pasta range is around rm30-50.

β β β β β Yummy Italian food
I ordered the squid ink pasta . The pasta was a little bit βfishyβ but I liked it . My husband said that his aglio olio was delicious . My little girl enjoyed her pork ragu too. We were 3 satisfied souls . Finding a place to park our car could be a little bit difficult on weekends though

β β β β β Carbonara is the authentic type (not cream based), decent attempt but the egg was slightly curdled so the texture was a little off. Taste wise still acceptable though.
Prawn olio was great though, wonderful fat and juicy prawns with pretty nice hand made pasta.
Tiramisu is excellent, with a strong scent of brandy. Coffee is strong, but more on the acidic side so not everyone might like the floral notes.
Iberico ribs was a chef special. Ribs are large and meaty, but I personally found the mushroom sauce didn't really pair well with the fatty iberico meat. Maybe something with tang and sweetness might have done the fat better justice?
Overall the cost is above average, but didn't feel overpriced since the food was well prepared with generous use of ingredients. Will definitely return to check out their other dishes.

β β β β β I was looking forward to having a nice dinner with Italian food so I went on their website and poured over their menu. Made a few selections too. When I got there, much to my dismay they had a new menu and this menu had so much less items on it. More than half of what I had decided on were no longer available. So I had to decide again with the new menu. Was it worth it in the end? Let's find out below:
1. Platter of cold cuts - this was good. The more I dig into it, the more I like the selection of salami, pancetta and etc.
2. Spaghetti carbonara with pancetta - it was a tad heavy for me. I expected real carbonara, not the creamy type.
3. Stuffed chicken - a total disappointment as the chicken meat was dry. A big no no for me.
4. Gnocchi - I love this one a lot. It was also pretty heavy with a thick layer of melted cheese but I could get past that layer of cheese and went straight for the gnocchi underneath that was bathe in a super flavorful tomato paste.
5. Iberico pork collar with risotto - the best dish of the night. You simply can't go wrong with Iberico Pork at the hands of an experienced chef. Together with the slightly creamy risotto, everybody was eyeing this dish and it was gone in no time.
6. Crispy flat bread - this was complimentary and it was a good way to get all of us started.
Will I go back? Probably not if their porchetta and duck breast are gone for good. I was so looking forward to try their porchetta. So it's back to Hungry Bacon soon. Please update the menu in your website.
