β β β β β She is very strict for giving the 6 pieces sample with purchasing at same time requiring for the personal Information. The orignanal bag which is compulsory thing with buying hasn't been offered until I request.

When I went to the shop I already know what to buy and straight away brought the product to counter by myself, but no one was assisting me or at least saying "please wait a moment". Waited for quite some time and after payment, the sales girl was telling me the product sample that I wanted to try is out of stock. When I asking for other product samples, she REFUSE to give. She gave me only one sample. Usually the sales girl will offer a few samples that suitable for my skin type, but not this stingy outlet who refuses my request. This incident totally changed my perception towards Aesop service.

β β β β β I did went to buy Christmas gifts. Greeted with a staff who I admirably thank for having the patience to explain to me the products that I wanted to know about. Literally stuck in there for 30 mins to decide, then went out and came back to purchase after i've confirmed that's what I wanted. The things there are crazy expensive, but no surprises there.
I think a better question for the staff there when wanting to inquire about is by knowing a certain range of things you would want. For example, if it's for your beloved once, roughly estimate/find out what sort of scent does he/she likes. So say if you wanted to get fragrant(perfume), let them know he/she likes say floral scent, or relaxing, or striking, or woody, you get the idea. If you're going to get their cleansing products, it would be best if you also again, somewhat knew the condition of skin or kind of treatments he/she needs then they will be able to help out more easily
But overall, I'd say even if you're clueless and you wanted something extra in your daily lifestyle, AND have the budget, just go and visit. Can guarantee you that you will at least find a thing or two that's interesting.
