★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room has mothball smells and the air conditioner is not available during the day. However the room is clean and the staff are friendly. The location was close to the river/tours too.

Cons: no Aircon during the day (safe money??). No WiFi. Bathrooms and showers are tiny. The host (Ann) was very unfriendly. Wouldn't come again. Just book the wildlodge hostel next to agosto.

The bunks are nice and big and offer some privacy.
Not always so much room to leave your bag if the place is full but you can make do! The place is perfect for relaxing after a tiring jungle trek.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we arrived, they informed us about the fact that they were actually closed due to renovations because of a leaking roof. As a consequence, the room smelled like mould, one of the three toilettes/showers available for the whole hostel was not operational and they did not offer the amazing breakfast they had been advertising. They could have informed us of this. Also they didn’t reply to any of our emails. The dorm is ultra basic, just a mattress in a wooden cubicle.
The location was really good, close to the water and close to the tours. Very friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place I've ever been in my life or should it stay "almost been" since I spent about 15mn only....
I arrived at 11pm after a 9h ride and after the owner takes my passeport and my money I let her know that the next day i want to make a 2 days treck on the jungle. She says it's not possible and i answer "i came until this place for nothing?". Then she starts screaming at me saying that I need to consider my manner, that I am blaming her, that I'm rude... I try to make her understand that it has nothing to do With her, it's juste I'm disappointed to have spent so many time to come here for maybe nothing and then she kicks me out, threatens me to call the police, give my money and tell me to go somewhere else... It's just 11 pm, in a place I don't know and i don't have internet on me to check other places.
Fortunately young people close by help me find another place. Thanks to them!
